Oct. 11, 2017

 

The air quality on Oct. 12 has been upgraded to the "unhealthy" category meaning that there should be no outdoor activity for children and teenagers. 

 

All outdoor activities will be moved indoors or canceled, including physical education, recess, and afterschool sports. 

 

We will continue to monitor the Air Quality Index and keep you updated.

 

Oct. 12, 2017

 

Sutter Flag Football team will not play against Westwood on Oct. 12, 2017 due to the unhealthy air quality.  It will be rescheduled at a later date.

 

Oct. 13, 2017

 

As a precautionary measure, Froggy Friday will be canceled on Oct. 13 due to the uncertainty of the air quality.  We will resume Froggy Friday on Oct. 20, 2017.  Thank you for your cooperation.  

 

 

The air quality forecast for Oct. 13, 2017 is unhealthy through the weekend continues. 

 

All outdoor activities should continue to be moved indoors, canceled, or rescheduled, including physical education, recess, and sports practices and games.

 

We will continue to monitor the Air Quality Index and email you an update Sunday evening regarding Monday’s air quality forecast and recommendations for student and staff outdoor activity.

 

Oct. 18, 2017 

 

Air quality for 10/18 is moderate so students will do outdoor activities.  We will carefully monitor the air quality and make changes when needed.  

 

Oct. 19, 2017

 

Sutter 5th Grade Flag Football Game will occur around 3 pm at Don Callejon.  Come see our 5th grade students play and show great teamwork and sportsmanship.    

 

Sutter School and other Santa Clara USD Schools will be doing the Great ShakeOut earthquake drills.  The Earthquake drills are an opportunity to practice how to be safer during earthquakes: "Drop, Cover and Hold On." ShakeOut also has been organized to encourage everyone to update emergency plans and supplies, and to secure your space in order to prevent damage and injuries.
